At the 2025 NAB Marconi Radio Awards in New York, Mike McVay, President of McVay Media and lead advisor to Audiospace, was honored with the prestigious NAB National Radio Award.
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) recognized Mike for his extraordinary influence on the global radio and audio industry. With over four decades of experience, he has shaped programming strategies, nurtured top talent, and driven innovation across traditional broadcasting, podcasting, and digital platforms.

In addition to receiving the National Radio Award, Mike was also inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2025 — one of the highest honors in broadcasting — acknowledging his lifelong contribution to the evolution of radio and his lasting impact on generations of broadcasters.

Mike McVay has received numerous awards and acknowledgments throughout his career. His previous honors include the Broadcast Foundation of America Leadership Award (2024), the Giants of Broadcasting Award (2024), the Rockwell Award, and the Innovation in Music & Media Award (2017). He has repeatedly ranked among Radio Ink’s top U.S. programmers and broadcasters and received multiple “Corporate Programmer/Consultant of the Year” and Lifetime Achievement awards from the Worldwide Radio Summit.

Before founding his own firm, Mike McVay served as Executive Vice President of Content and Programming for Cumulus Media and Westwood One, overseeing programming for more than 500 stations. He also co-created the iconic syndicated show Delilah and helped launch The John Tesh Show.
